Episcopal Film "Philadelphia Eleven" Showcases First Ordained Women

Broadway Theater in Salt Lake City on May 14 at 7 p.m.

The Philadelphia Eleven," a film celebrating the groundbreaking story of 11 women ordained in the Episcopal Church, is set for a special limited theatrical release in 11 theaters nationwide.

The film, in partnership with local dioceses, aims to bring this inspirational narrative to a wider audience, commemorating the 50th anniversary of these historic ordinations.

The screening in Utah will feature a post-film panel discussion, offering a closer look into the film's themes and the legacy of The Philadelphia Eleven.

  • The May Vestry meeting will be moved to Monday the 20th at 6 p.m. to allow for full participation in this event.
